THIS LONG SLEEVE TEE IS A VARIATION ON GZBI'S VERY POPULAR CAUTION YOU WILL BE SHOT SHIRT.

COMMENTS FROM LOYAL GZBI CUSTOMERS HAVE ASKED FOR A LONG-SLEEVE TEE, WITH AN AK-47 SILHOUETTE ON ONE SLEEVE AND AN M-4 SILHOUETTE ON THE OTHER. ON THE BACK OF THE SHIRT IS A COPY OF A SIGN WHICH IS CARRIED BY MILITARY AND CIVILIAN CONVOYS MOVING ABOUT IRAQ:

"CAUTION STAY 100 METERS BACK OR YOU WILL BE SHOT"

Why do convoys carry these signs?
They carry these signs because:

@ 200 meters you are a VBIED.
@ 100m you are virtually
indistinguishable fm a VBIED.

Unlike the short sleeve tee, this shirt does not include the "Errr, Nevermind . . .Just Back from Iraq" underneath the caution.

from the short-sleeve shirt's description:

Welcome to the world of rush hour (and sometimes not so rush-hour) traffic in Iraq. I'll tell you what. . . come up on a convoy at a high rate of speed and you're likely to get shot. At 200 meters you are indistinguishable from a VBIED. At 100 meters you are virtually indistinguishable from a VBIED. Now, typically the VBIEDS don't stop coming--and when they don't all too often men and women: Iraqis, coalition civilians and soldiers, MARINES, sailors and airmen are killed or wounded.

So, the back of the convoys carry signs, BIG signs saying if you come closer than a hundred meters without authorization, you will be shot. (FYI: inspite of all of this, our team is still very cautious. The rear gunner on a convoy will use hand signals, use million-candle power spotlights, use pencil flares, fire shots in front of the vehicles etc, BEFORE actually shooting the vehicle or the driver. But you don't hear about that.)

This tee-shirt is an exact reproduction of one of these signs.

NEW Buy two, one for you, one for a wounded vet. . .

If you didn't like these GZBI shirts, you wouldn't be buying them, would you? Well, if you are buying one of these for yourself, imagine how good it would be to buy one for a wounded, injured, and ill soldier currently recovering at Walter Reed.

The vet group (www.adoptasoldier.us) told GZBI what these shirts would do for the morale of wounded vets and wondered if GZBI customers might be willing to donate a shirt every time they bought some for themselves. Both Shamu and I think it is a great idea and encourage you to do so.

Sure, we sell you an extra shirt, but you are donating that shirt to a G.I. and that's gotta be a good thing.
Good for you, good for the vet!

Tell us what you want to say on your note and we'll make sure the shirt is delivered into one of the worthies in Walter Reed. Don't wait, donate!
